“They Need Comfort” – Equipment of 7 bedrooms in the Boarding school in the Village of Lyubin Velykyy, Lviv Region

The Special Boarding School for the Children with Mental Disturbances in Velykyy Lyubin numbers 85 pupils. 40 per cent of them are orphans. Their age is from seven to seventeen. In April, 2005 the members of the FL Club of Peine, Germany initiated the project of renovating the bedrooms which were in awful condition. The Danish Soroptimists from Region 2 supported this initiative. Seven bedrooms and an isolation ward were repaired, windows, floors, doors were changed, new furniture was bought. Now children sleep in the rooms bearing the names of towns: Herning, Grenaa, Skjern, Tarm, Brande, Ringkoebing and Peine.
